[edit] Edit to Talk:Agoraphobia
Hi, I reverted your edit to Talk:Agoraphobia. Unfortunately it did remove a lot of contributions of other editors. Perhaps if you add your contribution as a new section? FlowerpotmaN·(t) 23:32, 10 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] The text of the edit is here...
The text of the edit is at this link [1], although do remember that the talk page of an article is to discuss the article and not the subject itself. FlowerpotmaN·(t) 23:51, 10 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Article talk pages. (Reply to your message on my talk page)
Hi again. Just a reply to your message here. Actually the main reason I reverted your edit to the Agoraphobia talk page was that it accidentally removed other messages; I noticed the edit on the recent changes page, which gives an indication of the size of the change made by the edit. Just chance that I happened to notice it.
But regarding the purpose of talk pages - and I do appreciate your view - but it goes back to the purpose of Wikipedia, building an encyclopedia. Article talk pages are there to discuss the content of the article: discussing content, references, formatting, what should and shouldn't be in the article, etc. etc. It isn't for personal views on the subject in general itself, no matter how valid they are. I know that might sound a bit unfeeling - it isn't meant to be, but I know it does have that ring about it - but there are forums to discuss issues outside Wikipedia. Of course, there are a lot of occasions that there are contributions to many article talk pages that are subjective rather than objective, and I don't disagree with your comment about that. The talk page guidlines are at WP:TALK, if you want to take a look, and feel free to drop a message on my talk page FlowerpotmaN·(t) 00:49, 11 January 2008 (UTC)
