- December 8, 1991: Randy Myers was traded by the Cincinnati Reds to the San Diego Padres for a player to be named later and Bip Roberts. The San Diego Padres sent Craig Pueschner (minors) (December 9, 1991) to the Cincinnati Reds to complete the trade. [1]
- January 8, 1992: Tim Teufel signed as a Free Agent with the San Diego Padres.
