SKYCITY Cinemas was a partner with Village Roadshow in Village SKYCITY Cinemas, operating 55 cinema screens around New Zealand and currently developing a new multiplex cinema at Fraser Cove in Tauranga. In 2006 Skycity bought out the remaining shares and has sole ownership over the cinemas.
