Seattle Wolves FC are an American soccer team. As of 2008, the team is a member of the Pacific Coast Soccer League (PCSL), a recognised Division III league in the American Soccer Pyramid which features teams from western Canada and the Pacific Northwest region of the United States of America.
The Wolves play their home matches at the Starfire Sports Complex in the city of Tukwila, Washington, 11 miles south of downtown Seattle. The team's colors are navy and white.
History
Established in 2002, the Wolves burst into the Northwest soccer scene, quickly moving up four divisions of competitive play within the Greater Seattle Soccer League (GSSL). Since the team's beginning, the Wolves have captured 12 League Titles and 5 Tournament Championships.
In the Fall of 2006, the club grew out of its infancy as a local amateur team, and expanded to include multiple squads and a hunger for higher competition. Currently the Wolves have a tiered amateur to semi-professional system, consisting of four competitive levels of play within the Starfire Premier Soccer League (SPSL) and regional semi-professional leagues.
Mission
The Seattle Wolves Football Club employs a European-style tiered system of teams utilizing experienced personnel, player recruitment, and advanced private training in order to develop committed, competitive athletes. These teams compete year-round and continually strive to improve and reach the highest levels of competitive play, thereby bridging the gap between amateur and professional soccer. In addition, the Wolves strive to be an exciting sports entertainment venture and small business marketing platform for the community of individuals and businesses in the greater Seattle area and beyond.
Vision
The Seattle Wolves Football Club strives to build and operate an elite, professionally managed soccer organization that competes at the highest amateur and semi-professional levels of United States soccer.
