Talk:Alexander Adams (Hawaii)

[edit] Notability/factuality?
Okay, I live in Hawaii and am extremely well-versed in Hawaiian history, but I've never heard of this guy. Not to say that I know it all, but I'm really not at all convinced that Alexander Adams is in any way notable. There was no single founder of "modern Hawaii" and if there was it would be someone like King Kalākaua or the like. This article seems excessively ethnocentric with bold assertions that Caucacians suddenly did more for Hawaii than its own native people. At any rate, I'm leaning towards nominating this article for deletion unless some reliable sources come up showing that any of the assertions in this article are true. —Keakealani 01:07, 20 November 2006 (UTC)
