Robert Wierzel

Robert Wierzel (born July 1, 1956) is an American lighting designer.

He is well known for his work in American Regional Theatre, Opera and Dance. He is particularly well known for his collaborations with the Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane dance company as well as his long time work with Glimmerglass Opera and New York City Opera. American Theatre Wing Hewes Design Award Winner 1991.

He teaches in the Graduate Design program at New York University.
