Not knowing compels us to learn. Learning compels us to doubt. Doubting compels us to learn and know more. Learning, knowing, and not being permitted to doubt what we learn and know, leads us to ignorance.
We can not grow as a civilization unless we doubt all that we know and learn. Knowing, learning and doubting are the elements of wisdom, and wisdom grants us the right to sometimes be wrong.
