Plenette Pierson is a professional Women's National Basketball Association player for the Detroit Shock. In the 2007 season Pierson won the first ever Sixth Woman of the Year Award given in the WNBA.
Pierson attended Texas Tech.She graduated in 2003.She won 2 championships with the Shock one in 2003 and one in 2000.Pierson ins loved in Detroit for her hustle and ability to get to the basket.In the season opener against Houston, Pierson scored 19 points of the bench.
