Peckham Rye railway station is in South London. It is on Rye Lane, in the centre of Peckham's shopping district.
It is on both the South London Line and the Catford Loop, between Denmark Hill and Queens Road Peckham on the South London Line, and Nunhead on the Catford Loop. It was designed by Charles Henry Driver (1832-1900), the architect of Abbey Mills and Crossness pumping stations, in 1865. Driver also designed the grade II listed Denmark Hill and Battersea Park stations on this line.
Because of its proximity to both Peckham Rye Junction and Crofton Road Junction, Peckham Rye is a key interchange, and trains go to Dartford, London Bridge, Victoria, Blackfriars, Sevenoaks, Wimbledon, Croydon (both East and West) and Beckenham Junction.
