I'm a 19 year old student at the University College of the University of Maastricht, the Netherlands. I mainly study sociology and culture, but linguistics is where my heart lies. I'm especially interested in fə'nɛtɪks. Perhaps I'll go into that field when I'm done with my current study.

I play the guitar (mainly the acoustic) and the piano, and I love all kinds of music. To give you an impression, I don't mind listening to hardcore punk one minute, and folk music the next. I also write music. Sometimes on the guitar, sometimes on the computer (with the help of MIDI and synthesisers.

I also enjoy cycling, go-karts, mountaineering, reading, drawing, photographing things, drinking good beer and eating nice (honest and simple) food. Of course a good night out with friends is always good. I also recently fell in love with the city of Edinburgh, and my oddest hobby is probably conlanging.
