Iaroslava Netchaeva

Iaroslava Netchaeva (also: Yaroslava Nechaeva) is a Russian (former-Soviet) ice dancer who currently lives in Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA where she works as a coach. During her competitive career, she skated with Yuri Chesnichenko. They won the silver medal at the 1992 World Junior Figure Skating Championships for the Soviet Union and placed 13th at the 1994 European Figure Skating Championships for Russia. Following their competitive career, they toured as professionals on Torvill & Dean's Torvill and Dean's Ice Adventures. They moved to Michigan in 1998 and began coaching.
Nechaeva & Chesnichenko currently coach many ice dancers in the United States, including Emily Samuelson & Evan Bates, Madison Hubbell & Keiffer Hubbell, and Lynn Kriengkrairut & Logan Giulietti-Schmitt. At the 2007 United States Figure Skating Championships, their teams swept the Junior Ice Dancing podium.
