HBL FC are a Pakistani football club based out of Karachi who play in the Pakistan Premier League. The club was setup in 1975 by Habib Bank, hence the nicknamed the Bankers.
HBL won the National championship in 1982, beating Pakistan Railways FC into second. They have also been runners up 3 times.
They are founding members of the PPL and were relegated in the 2006/07 season, but were elected to return following expansion of the league.
