Davis Connelley (born 1967 in the United Kingdom) is the former bassist for American band Shovel. He came to America in the 1980s as a teen. In 2000, he learned his father had cancer and was dying, and left the band to return to the UK to care for him. Not much was heard from him since then, but in 2003 he began playing bass for legendary British industrial act Sandinista.
