Company of Biologists

The Company of Biologists is a UK charity established in 1925 with the aims of promoting research and study across all branches of biology. Its chairman is Sir John Gurdon. The company awards grants and fellowships to biologists, and publishes the Naturalists' Handbook Series and four academic journals in the field of biology:

• Development
• Journal of Cell Science
• Journal of Experimental Biology
• Disease Models & Mechanisms
