Centre Étienne Desmarteau

The Centre Etienne Desmarteau is a 2,200-seat multi-purpose arena in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It is named in honor of Étienne Desmarteau, a Canadian olympic athlete during the 1904 Summer Olympics. The arena was originally meant to host basketball during the 1976 Summer Olympics. Following the olympics, it used mostly as an ice hockey venue. It was once home to the Le Junior de Montreal hockey team.
