The Devil Crayfish or Cambarus diogenes is a crayfish thats grows to be 4.6in (11.5cm) without the claws. It tends to live in wetlands and moist woodlands. It is most active in the summer and spring where they can be found near streams and floodplains near there mud chimney, where they live.

The C. diogenes is found in Ontario and throughout the eastern United States of America.

Chimney crayfish, Thunder crawfish and Meadow crayfish.
Depending on the dialect you will hear either crayfish or crawfish.
