Miguel Gomez, better known as Aztek (born September 20, 1977[citation needed]) is a Gangster Rap artist born in Santiago de Cali, Colombia. Aztek Escobar was the first artist officially signed to Jay Z's Roc La Familia Label. Aztek is no longer on Roc La Familia, yet a reason for his departure has not been provided by Aztek nor Def Jam.

In 2005 Aztek created an early buzz beginning with the song "I'm Reloaded" which featured Jay Z over Mike Jones Back Then instrumental. Soon after Aztek was the first artist signed to Roc La Familia. As of late 2006 Aztek Escobar has since left the label.
Aztek has just[when?] released a mixtape named "Blood In Blood Out", Its the album before his debut album "Colombian Necktie".
