Autotote, a company which has been renamed Scientific Games, is a UK supplier of pari-mutuel wagering systems — automated, computerized off-track and/or on-track betting systems for betting on horse races. It is an integrated system for off-track betting, keeping track of race results and winning tickets, and race simulcasting.
Luke Weil, the heir to the Autotote fortune, is unflatteringly featured in a documentary called Born Rich, about the experience of growing up as the heir to one of the world's greatest fortunes.
